State agencies throughout Delmarva prep for snowfall

State highway agencies throughout Delmarva have started pre-treating roads since Wednesday.
As of Thursday morning, agencies such as V-DOT, Del-Dot, Maryland SHA checked on equipment, filled up salt reserves, and have crews on stand-by.
DelDot tells 47 ABC, plows will be hitting the streets Thursday night.
"Remember the worst portion of the road is directly in front of the plow because that's directly where we are applying material in the plowing. So don't try to pass a plow truck. It's hazardous for the both of you. The operator of the truck and the public in general," says Alastair Probert, the DelDot Engineer for the South District.
State highway officials are also reminding folks to drive slowly, especially when snow begins to stick to the roads.
