Today’s Forecast: January 18, 2019

Partly cloudy skies are expected tonight with temperatures dropping into the lower 30s.

Saturday will be mostly cloudy with temperatures in the mid and upper 40s. Rain will move in after dark and continue through the night with breezy winds and rising temperatures. Temperatures will start in the 50s early on Sunday, but will then quickly plummet throughout the day. A brief wintry mix is possible around midday as an arctic front pushes through. A flash freeze is likely, meaning anything wet may freeze as temperatures drop. We’re also concerned about strong wind gusts above 40 mph and wind chill values that will likely drop below zero Sunday night and Monday morning.

Monday will remain very cold with highs in the 20s and breezy winds, but skies will be mainly sunny. Tuesday will be mostly sunny with temperatures in the mid 30s. Wednesday will be milder with temperatures rising into the upper 40s to low 50s. Scattered showers are possible Wednesday night and will continue into Thursday with temperatures in the mid 40s.

Have a great weekend!
