WiHi remains undefeated after close win over Decatur
SALISBURY, Md — The WiHi Tribe was tested but was able to overcome the Decatur Seahawks 64-59. This game was back and forth, WiHi led by one after the first quarter, Decatur led by one after halftime, and was up two heading into the final quarter. The Tribe hadn’t lost a home game in over two seasons and Malique Leatherbury and Antwan Wilson took over late in the fourth quarter to ensure they wouldn’t lose Monday night.
The Seahawks had a chance with 30 seconds left to tie the game but Jayden Hudson missed a three-pointer that would have tied the game up.
Wilson led both teams in scoring with 32 points.
