Today’s Forecast: January 7, 2019
An approaching warm front will bring scattered rain showers late tonight with perhaps some sleet mixing in north of Salisbury. Temperatures will briefly drop into the 30s before rising into the 40s by morning as southerly winds take over behind the front.
Tuesday will be mostly cloudy early, then turning partly sunny and warmer for the afternoon. High temperatures will be in the mid to upper 50s and possibly low 60s. A few showers are possible Tuesday night as a cold front moves through.
Colder air moves in on Wednesday with temperatures in the mid 40s under partly sunny skies. It will feel even colder as it becomes quite breezy through the day. Thursday will be mostly sunny and still breezy with highs in the upper 30s to near 40. Friday will remain sunny and cold with highs in the 30s.
Clouds will increase on Saturday with highs in the upper 30s and lowers 40s. An area of low pressure could bring a rain and snow mix late which will likely linger into Sunday. The exact path and strength of this potential storm will determine precipitation amount and type. Stay tuned.
Have a great night!
