Trio arrested on drug, weapons charges following administrative search
DOVER, Del. – Dover Police arrested three suspects late Wednesday night after finding drugs and a handgun during an administrative search.
We’re told the investigation began shortly before midnight when Street Crimes Officers assisted Delaware Probation and Parole with an administrative search on a residence in the unit block of Stevenson Drive. Officers made contact with three men inside the residence, identified as 22-year-old Brice Hall, 19-year-old Vaughn Hall, and 30-year-old Richard Carter.
During the search, officers located approximately 961.4 grams of marijuana and THC edibles, approximately 3 grams of crack cocaine, 15 bags of heroin, and a loaded 9mm Taurus handgun.
All three suspects were each charged with two counts of possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, possession of ammunition by a prohibited person, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession with intent to deliver marijuana, three counts of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, second degree conspiracy, and violation of probation.
Brice Hall was held at SCI on a $53,550 cash bail.
Vaughn Hall was held at SCI on a $32,350 cash bail.
Carter was released on a $32,350 unsecured bail.
