Reported assault incident in Somerset County

PRINCESS ANNE, Md. – 47 ABC has learned of an assault incident that occurred in Somerset County Wednesday morning.

According to Cpl Dykes with Maryland State Police, the incident happened on Back Bone Road in Princess Anne at around 8 AM.

The suspect then fled to the 400 block of McGrath Road in Eden.

One victim is reportedly being treated at Peninsula Regional Medical Center for road rash.

We’re told the victim and suspect know each other.

Police say they currently do not have anyone in custody, but everyone involved is cooperating.
