Clouds will increase late tonight ahead of our next weather system. Temperatures will drop into the mid 30s.
Temperatures on Thursday will slowly rise into the mid and upper 50s for most. However, the Mid-Shore and some northern areas like Dover may stay in the upper 40s through most of the day before temperatures finally climb into the 50s there after sunset. Rain will arrive during the afternoon, but there may be a few morning and midday showers as well. The rain will be heavy at times, especially Thursday night. It will also turn windy with wind gusts between 40-60 mph, especially at the coast. Scattered showers will continue into Friday with highs soaring into the low and mid 60s. Rainfall totals will be between 1-3 inches.
Breezy winds will continue into Saturday with gradually clearing skies and temperatures in the low 50s. Sunday will feature plenty of sunshine with highs in the upper 40s.
Monday will be mostly sunny with highs in the upper 40s. Christmas Day is looking partly to mostly sunny with temperatures remaining in the upper 40s. Wednesday will be mostly sunny and cool with highs in the upper 40s.
