Local couple makes communicating with Santa easy during holidays
DAGSBORO, Del. – One couple is making dreams come true this holiday season.
The Malone family has been committed to making the season brighter for children every year. They started with a mailbox that would get letters to Santa about a month ago, but Wednesday night they took it a step further, and actually brought Santa and Mrs. Claus to the community.
And this was all to help a good cause, as they partner with the Parents Education Center in Frankford to help folks who go to the Delaware Food Bank.
“We’ve never seen so much love from people that support us as a team,” said Katrina Malone.
“We’ve helped out a lot of families and every time that we put something on Facebook within five minutes, somebody is there lending a hand,” said Sean Malone.
There is another mailbox where the public can drop off their letters to Santa, that one is at Vogue On 54 in Fenwick Island. The vision moving forward is to have these mailboxes open year-round.
