Freeman’s 37 leads Kent in season opening road win over Pocomoke

The Kent County boys basketball team got a great season opening road win, defeating Pocomoke 61-40 on Friday night.

Trojans junior guard JayShaun Freeman went off for a game-high 37 points, including 21 in the second half to lead his team to the opening night victory. Brandon Snowden paced Pocomoke with a team-high 11 points.

Kent County (1-0) host Cambridge next Tuesday, while Pocomoke (0-1) travels to Decatur.
