2019 Penguin Swim quickly approaching

BERLIN, Md. – Get ready to dive into the icy cold Atlantic Ocean for a good cause, as the 25th annual Atlantic General Hospital Penguin Swim returns to Ocean City.

The annual swim will be held on New Year’s Day at the Princess Royale Hotel, located Oceanfront at 91st Street in Ocean City.

Individuals and teams are invited to join in on the fundraising. All participants will receive an official 2019 AGH Penguin Swim t-shirt for their $25 registration fee, and additional prizes can be earned based on individual fundraising efforts. Those wishing to participate can register online now to start collecting donations.

Registration on the day of the event will begin at 10 AM and end at 12:30 PM, with the event beginning at 1 PM. Fun activities for the whole family will be offered, including carnival games, face painting, mermaids, and more.

Participants are also invited to pre-register and check-in in advance in the Premier Lobby at the Princess Royale from 2 PM to 4 PM on New Year’s Eve. Shirts and prizes will be available for early pickup at pre-registration.

Special recognition awards will be given to the oldest and youngest penguins, along with trophies for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awarded to those who raise the most money by division. Prizes will also be awarded for best costumes.
