Bennett takes down Decatur in wild fashion

BERLIN, Md.– The Bennett Clippers defeated the Decatur Seahawks in a final score of 2-1 on Wednesday afternoon.

Midway through the first half, Alexis Berrie would tip it in for the goal to give Decatur the 1-0 lead on the Clippers.

In the 2nd half the Clippers’ Riley Matthews would fire one off and it would find the back of the net to tie it up at 1-1. However the Clippers wouldn’t be done just yet, Matthews would set up for a penalty kick and it would go through the left hand corner of the net for the score and the lead.

Bennett moves on to take on North Caroline next Monday.
