Cambridge Police investigating reported shooting incident

CAMBRIDGE, Md. – An investigation is underway into a reported shooting incident that occurred Monday afternoon.

At around 3 PM, Cambridge Police were called to respond to the emergency room at the University of Maryland Shore Medical Center regarding a male subject that came in with a gunshot wound to his facial area.

We’re told that detectives attempted to obtain information regarding the incident, however, the victim has been uncooperative at this point.

Further investigation has led officials to believe the incident took place in the area of Bayly Road and Pine Street. There is no suspect description or information to give at this time.

The victim is a 25-year-old male and is being treated at the University of Maryland Shock Trauma in Baltimore where he is listed in stable condition.
