Shooting incident at Pocomoke Walmart under investigation

POCOMOKE, Md. – Pocomoke City Police are investigating a reported shooting that took place on Monday.

We’re told the incident took place at the Walmart located on Old Snow Hill Road in Pocomoke City. On arrival, police located one victim in the parking lot who had an apparent gunshot wound to the leg.

The victim was taken to PRMC in Salisbury by ambulance for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Police say the suspect reportedly fled in an unknown direction in a black sedan. The suspect is described as being approximately 6’0″, 250 pounds, and goes by the street name of “Wreck”. The suspect is pictured above in a still image pulled from store surveillance footage.

Callers may remain anonymous and could receive up to a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect.
