Berlin recognized as a 2022 Travelers Choice Award from Tripadvisor

BERLIN, Md.- America’s Coolest Small Town is being recognized on a large scale once again. Main Street Berlin, in Maryland, has won the 2022 Travelers Choice Award from Tripadvisor as one of the top 10% attractions worldwide.

The town’s Economic and Community Development Director, Ivy Wells, tells 47ABC they’re excited to be honored in this way. Wells said she thinks people feel something special when they walk into Berlin with all the unique shops, culinary destinations, and local art and history that’s offered. “We have a book here and people write where they are from and we have a lot of people who come from Berlin, Germany and from other Berlins around the country,” Wells said. “So, we are a worldwide destination now and you know the community embraces it. Our businesses love it and people feel really special when they come here.”

We’re told this is the second time Berlin has received this award by Tripadvisor.
