Main Roots Coffee under new ownership

SALISBURY, Md.– Main Roots coffee is under new ownership and will be opening back up next month and under a new name, SBY Coffee.

47 ABC was able to reach out to the new owners,  Jenna Robinson and her mother Tracey Anne, who tell us they are excited for this new adventure.

The duo who both live in Salisbury, say they plan on bringing some new things to the downtown coffee shop, such as expanded hours. Although nothing is set in stone, we’re told the coffee shop could be open Sunday through Wednesday from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m.

“My mom and I we’ve always wanted to have a chocolate place to do coffees and teas, so this is our opportunity to do this right here in the heart of Downtown Salisbury. We’re extremely excited and grateful for the opportunity to do this and we cannot wait to have those doors open,” says Jenna Robinson, owner

Owners say the extended hours were important to them, because they felt there was no place to get good coffee later at night in the area.

Right now they say their grand opening will be December 1st, but they may have a soft opening before that.  They’re also looking for new employees.
