Easton Police investigating armed robbery

EASTON, Md. – The Easton Police Department is currently investigating a reported armed robbery that occurred Tuesday evening.

At around 7 PM, officers were called to respond to Carroll Motor Fuel, located at 8276 Elliott Road, for a reported armed robbery. When police arrived, they were informed that an unknown male, wearing all black clothing with a white mask, entered the store and allegedly pointed a handgun at the store clerk and demanded money from the cash register.

The suspect then fled from the store on foot, running towards The Barn Steakhouse with an unknown amount of money. Officials searched the area but were unsuccessful in locating the suspect.
