New local fitness center set to open in November
SALISBURY, Md. – They say summer bodies are made in the winter and come November there will be one more place to get that done in Salisbury with the opening of a brand new fitness center.
It may not look like much right now but crews are hard at work finishing the brand new home of Power House Fitness, which will go under a new name, Pure Family Fitness.
It’s a 60,000 sq. ft. facility health and fitness center. The owners say they’re excited to give the community a place that will cater to everyone’s fitness needs and goals.
“Pure Fitness is different than anything we have done so far. If I had to kind of make a reference to Pure Fitness, the closest thing I can refer it to is a Lifetime Fitness. The amenities we’re going to have is the swimming pool, racquetball court, basketball court, kids’ club and we’re going to have AstroTurf,” explains Pure owner Tony Taghipour.
Their goal is to make it affordable for the masses with memberships starting at $19.95 with the new facility set to open in Mid-November.
