Police arrest Cambridge man wanted on several charges
CAMBRIDGE, Md. – Officials say a wanted Cambridge man is in custody, following various charges dating as far back as 2016.
On Wednesday, October 17th, the Capital Area Fugitive Task Force, including members of the U.S. Marshals Service, Maryland State Police, and a deputy from the Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office, took 43-year-old Garfield Reginald Stanley Jr. into custody.
Police say he was wanted locally for two counts of violation of probation, but was also wanted by authorities in Oklahoma for his involvement in an incident that took place on October 24th, 2016. During this incident, he was charged with kidnapping, domestic assault with a dangerous weapon, and domestic assault by strangulation.
He is currently being held without bond.
