“They are very excited about how beautiful it looks:” Progress continues on Snow Hill’s Boardwalk Project

SNOW HILL, Md.- Snow Hill’s Boardwalk Project is making progress and town leaders said construction could be done soon.

Snow Hill’s Deputy Town Manager said construction is underway to extend the walk from the Canoe Company, across Washington Street, and all the way down to the front of the river on Sturgis Park. The town is trying to encourage outdoor activity along the river.

“Anytime you see something like that going on and beautification happening, it’s tangible evidence that things are happening here and I’ve had a lot of great feedback from people who live here,” Margot Resto, Snow Hill’s Deputy Town Manager, said. “They are very excited about how beautiful it looks and I’ve noticed people just walking around town, especially with the weather getting better.”

Resto also said the town is hoping the project is finished by the end of the month, but weather could change things.
