Delmarva Shorebirds are excited to welcome back baseball fans for opening weekend

DELMARVA- Get pumped local baseball fans, Friday marks the start of the Delmarva Shorebirds Opening Weekend.

The general manager of the Shorebirds said they are excited to welcome people back for this new season, and there will be lots for the crowd to look forward to like a t-shirt giveaway and fireworks.

The GM also said this year’s team is going to be fun to watch because there’s a lot of international talent that has made their way to Delmarva.

“We are obviously pumped to have had a fairly normal off season from a planning standpoint as it relates to what we went through 2021,” Chris Bitters, GM, Shorebirds. “We found a fairly normal off season, so we’re back with promotions , giveaways, fireworks and all kinds of daily specials on this season.”

The ball park has transitioned to being cash less and they will be doing digital tickets.
