1280 Hodges

SALISBURY, Md. – A Salisbury man will spend more than a decade behind bars for a 2020 burglary.

46-year-old Earl Hodges was convicted by a Wicomico County jury in November 2021 of first degree burglary and other related charges. On Friday, Hodges was sentenced to 12 years in the Division of Corrections.

On November 6, 2020, officers were called to Marion Street in Salisbury for a reported burglary. Officers learned that two juvenile girls were home participating in virtual learning when a man entered the house through their father’s bedroom window. When the girls saw the intruder they screamed and saw the man, identified as Hodges, grab a jar of change and leave through the same window. Further investigation revealed that Hodges was known to the family.
