Police investigating shot fired at Milford residence

MILFORD, Del. – Milford Police are currently investigating a reported shot fired at a local residence that took place Sunday evening.

Just after 11 PM Sunday, officers were called to respond to an apartment in the Willows apartment complex for a report of a shot fired that struck a home.

Police learned that an occupant reportedly fired the shot from a vehicle on Airport Road towards the apartment, hitting a window. The bullet was found lodged in an appliance inside the home. Luckily, no one in the home was injured as a result of the incident.
