Salisbury author pens book on adventures with dog

SALISBURY, Md. – One local author is sharing the story of adventures she went on with her beloved dog, but she says she’s not the one telling the story.

Pat Harvey is a Salisbury-based author and the proud owner of Libby, a ten-year-old Cavalier King Charles. Libby spends times volunteering at nursing homes as a therapy dog, but also loves going on adventures with Pat. That’s why Pat says she wanted to turn their adventures into a book. It’s called Libby’s Great Adventures, and while Pat is the human behind the work, she says she wanted it all to be told by Libby.

“It’s really not written like I wrote it at all, it’s written like it really came from Libby’s heart, and that’s important,” Pat said.
