UPDATE: Wanted woman arrested on attempted homicide and assault charges in Worcester County

Officials say that a woman who was wanted on assault and attempted homicide charges has been arrested in Worcester County.

According to the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office around 4AM, members of the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office got information from the Ocean City Police Department in regards to a possible location of 50-year-old Kimberly Hinkley, of Ocean City, who was wanted on charges of attempted second degree homicide, first degree assault, and reckless endangerment.

Worcester County Sheriff’s Office Deputies and Maryland State Police troopers reportedly found Hinkley at a home on Old Bridge Road in West Ocean City, and arrested her without incident.

According to online court documents, besides the charges of second degree homicide, first degree assault, and reckless endangerment, Hinkley is also being charged with second degree assault, and possession of a dangerous weapon with intent to injure.

Officials say, Hinkley was taken to the commissioner and held on bond.
