Shots fired report under investigation

HARRINGTON, Del. – Police are investigating a complaint of shots fired that took place on Monday evening.

At around 10:30 PM, Delaware State Police were called to respond to a residence in the 5000 block of Milford Harrington Highway for a report of shots fired.

When officers arrived, a 62-year-old female resident reported that while she was inside, she heard a vehicle speeding by, followed by a loud popping noise. Officials later discovered a bullet hole in her front window.

Her 69-year-old husband was also reportedly inside the residence when the incident occurred. Neither individual suffered injuries as a result of the incident.
