Seaford Police Department to host Community Night Out Against Crime and Drugs

SEAFORD, Del. – The Seaford Police Department and Delaware State Police are inviting the public to the 27th annual Seaford Community Night Out- Against Crime and Drugs.

This event will take place on Thursday, September 27th, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the 300 block of Virginia Avenue, located between the Seaford Police Department and the Western Sussex Boys and Girls Club.

Free dinners will be provided by the USDA.

Several public safety partners will be in attendance at the event, including the State Fire Marshal’s Office, Office of Highway Safety, Seaford Volunteer Fire Department, Sussex County Paramedics, and more.

The Delaware State Police will also be present, showcasing the Mounted Patrol Unit, Evidence Detection Unit, K-9 Unit, Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit, Scuba, SORT, the Command Post, and the Aviation Unit (weather permitting).

Everyone is welcome to attend and enjoy the evening.
