Berlin man arrested on drug charges

BERLIN, Md. – A Berlin man has been arrested in connection to a crack cocaine distribution investigation.

46-year-old Marcus Adrien Pitts was identified as a “significant source of crack cocaine” in the Berlin area. A search and seizure warrant was conducted at his residence, which led to the discovery of approximately 395 grams of crack cocaine along with other various items of paraphernalia used in the process of producing crack cocaine from powder cocaine.

Pitts was arrested and charged with possession of crack cocaine, possession with the intent to distribute crack cocaine, manufacturing crack cocaine, and possession of narcotics production equipment.

He has been committed to the Worcester County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bond.
