Dover shooting under investigation

DOVER, Del. – Delaware State Police are currently investigating a shooting that took place Thursday evening.

At roughly 7:50 PM, troopers were called to respond to a residence in the 100 block of S. Governors Boulevard, for a reported shooting.

After further investigation, officials discovered that three males, ages 45, 30, and 27, were standing in the driveway in front of a relatives residence when they were reportedly shot at.

The 30-year-old male suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was transported privately to a nearby hospital. The other two males did not suffer any injuries resulting from the incident. Two vehicles that were parked in the driveway at the time of the incident were also damaged by the gunshots.

The 30-year-old was later transferred to another hospital, once he was listed in stable condition. At this time, there is no suspect information.
