Smyrna sinks Seaford in tight match up

SEAFORD, Md. —  The Smyrna Eagles traveled to the nest of the Seaford Blue Jays and walked out with a 46-42 victory.

The Eagles led for most of the game until the Blue Jays turned up the defensive pressure in the second half to close the gap.

Despite holding the Eaglesto five points in the third quarter and outscoring the Eagles in the forth, the Blue Jays couldn’t complete the comeback due to the good free throw shooting from the Eagles.

The Eagles improved to 4-3 on the season while the Blue Jays fall to 4-3.
