Dover hosting community forum about police relations

 

DOVER, Del. – Dover residents will soon have the opportunity to voice their opinions in an open community forum.

The Dover Police Department and the Delaware Chapter of NOBLE (National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives) are teaming up to host an open forum to address relations between the police force and the local community.

The purpose of this forum is to encourage discussion and challenge attendees to help create solutions to varied problems among communities, as well as work on developing ways to improve the relationship between police officers and the public that they serve.

The forum is scheduled for Thursday, September 27th, from 6 to 8 PM at the Whatcoat United Methodist Church, which is located at 341 Saulsbury Road, Dover, DE 19904. It is open to the general public.
