Lucky person wins 1 million dollar lottery ticket

Although nobody won Wednesday night’s Powerball jack pot,  a 1 million dollar winning ticket was sold in ocean city , but nobody has claimed it yet.

A 7-11 in Ocean City was the location that sold the winning ticket. As of Thursday, a spokesperson from the Maryland lottery tells 47 ABC they do not know who the winner is. However the manager at the 7-11 tells us  it has caused more folks to buy extra tickets for the next drawing.

“It’s pretty exciting I never thought we’d never have one like that, it’s pretty cool,” says Matt Latshaw, the 7-11 manager.

The next Powerball jackpot drawing is this Saturday and it has a value of 403 million dollars.
