Ocean Pines, PRMC team up for Live Well Academy

Residents in Ocean Pines now have the opportunity to learn more about health services offered in their area free of charge.

The new Live Well Academy is part of a partnership between the Ocean Pines Association and PRMC that informs residents about expanding services and new facilities in the Berlin and Salisbury area.

The sessions last an hour, and cover a variety of topics in local health care, including ER and urgent care, radiation oncology, heart health and cancer care.

“A lot of times people might feel rushed when they’re seeing their doctor,” said Dr. Justin Kucinski with the Richard A. Henson Cancer Center in Ocean Pines.  “They may not be able to have all of the information that they’d want to have up front.  So being able to come to a setting like this where they’re able to sit down in an intimate setting, small group, and be able to ask those questions.”

This academy meets monthly in the Marlin Room at the Ocean Pines Association.
