The Heat Lingers for Thursday

Tonight will remain very warm and humid with temperatures only dropping into the mid to upper 70s with mostly clear skies.

Thursday will be another hot and humid day with mainly sunny skies and highs in the mid 90s. A cold front will touch off the chance for a few thunderstorms during the evening and overnight. Scattered showers and storms will continue into Friday under partly to mostly cloudy skies. Temperatures will be more seasonable, in the mid 80s.

A few storms are possible on Saturday with partly sunny skies and highs in the mid 80s. Sunday will feature mostly sunny skies and isolated storms. Highs will be in the mid to upper 80s.

Labor Day will be mainly sunny with highs in the mid to upper 80s. An isolated thunderstorm is possible. Tuesday and Wednesday look drier and hotter with highs climbing to near 90.
