Heat Advisory in Effect Across Delmarva

**A Heat Advisory is in effect for Delmarva due to dangerous heat index values continuing through Wednesday.**

Another very warm and muggy night is in store tonight with temperatures in the mid 70s.

Wednesday will be hot with highs rising into the mid 90s with hazy sunshine and heat index values near 105 degrees. Thursday will remain mostly sunny with highs in the low to mid 90s. A few thunderstorms are possible during the evening as a cold front approaches. Scattered showers and storms will continue for Friday with partly to mostly cloudy skies. Temperatures won’t be as hot as highs fall into the mid 80s.

A few storms are possible on Saturday with partly sunny to mostly cloudy skies. Temperatures will remain in the low to mid 80s. Expect highs in the mid 80s on Sunday under partly sunny skies with just a slight chance for a storm. Slight storm chances are possible on both Labor Day and Tuesday next week with highs climbing into the upper 80s.
