Officials: Superintendent returned to work in Md.
DORCHESTER COUNTY, Md. – Officials say a Maryland school district Superintendent is back on the job after a recent leave of absence.
Dorchester County Public Schools says on Monday, Dr. Diana Mitchell has returned to work after she took a leave of absence for about one week.
On August 21, DCPS announced that Dr. Mitchell had taken a leave of absence. 47ABC previously reported that DCPS called Superintendent Mitchell’s leave ” a personnel issue that could not be discussed,” when we reached out to learn more. It is still unclear why Dr. Mitchell took a nearly week-long leave of absence.
