2016 DIAA Field Hockey All-State Honors

The DIAA Field Hockey All-State Honors were announced Wednesday, recognizing several of our local athletes for their incredible individual seasons. The reigning state champion Delmar Wildcats took home the biggest honors of the day, with Peyton Kemp being tabbed as the 2016 Player of the Year, while Jodi Hollamon earned the 2016 Coach of the Year honor.

Seven players from the Henlopen earned 1st-Team All-State Honors, while another six made the 2nd-Team and two more made Honorable-Mention.
