Man arrested in connection with alleged strangulation incident in Del.

HARRINGTON, Del. – Police say the Delaware man was previously in a relationship with the victim of the Harrington incident.

The Harrington Police Department says on Wednesday, 22-year-old Kavon Warner turned himself in to the police department in connection with an investigation of a July 12 incident. Police say on July 12, officers were called to the 600 block of Friendship Village Drive for a report of an assault as a result of a domestic dispute.

According to the report, Warner came to the residence and confronted the woman while she was outside walking the dog. Authorities report that an argument began and Warner pushed the victim against a vehicle. Authorities say the 22-year-old then threatened to kill the victim. He then reportedly fled the scene.

Warner was charged with strangulation, terroristic threatening and offensive touching.

He was later released on $4,500 unsecured bond.
