Two sought in connection with armed robbery investigation in Somerset Co.
PRINCESS ANNE, Md. – An investigation is ongoing after police say two people were involved in an armed robbery that happened at a Princess Anne store on Thursday morning.
The Princess Anne Police Department says at 4:22 AM officers responded to the Royal Farms, on Mt. Vernon Road, in reference to an armed robbery. Police say two suspects went into the store and immediately confronted the store clerk. Authorities report that one suspect showed a handgun to the clerk during the incident.
According to the report, the clerk sustained minor injuries as a result of the incident and the suspects fled from the store with an undisclosed amount of cash and merchandise.
