Del. man arrested on drug and traffic offense charges

A man was arrested after police say he was in possession of drugs and driving with expired tags.

The Dover Police Department says on Monday, just before 7:50 PM, officers noticed 19-year-old Nathan Probst driving a silver BMW with expired tags. Police say they noticed the odor of marijuana when they stopped Probst for the violation in the area of Saulsbury Road and Walker Road.

According to the report, a search of the vehicle revealed 10 grams of marijuana, 20 hydroxyzine pills, 12 cyclobenzadrine pills, 15 alprzolam pills, 4.5 morphine pills, and 6 amphetamine pills.

Authorities say the 19-year-old Townsend man was arrested and charged with possession with intent to deliver (5x), possession of marijuana, and traffic offense.

He was later released on $8,900 unsecured bond.
