Children suffer non life threatening injuries in Milford crash

Police say two children suffered non-life threatening injuries in a Milford crash on Thursday morning.

According to Delaware State Police, around 7:55AM on Thursday morning, a 17-year-old teen was traveling southbound on Shawnee Road carrying his 10-year-old sister, when for unknown reasons he slid off the roadway, and hit a ditch. Police say the teen was flown to Christiana Medical Center with non life threatening injuries, and his 10-year-old sister was taken to Milford Memorial Hospital, also with non life threatening injuries.

Police say that there were no major delays.
