Kindergarten registration open for 2022-23 school year at the Indian River School District

SELBYVILLE, Del. – The Indian River School District is currently conducting electronic kindergarten registration for the 2022-2023 school year.

Kindergarten registration is for children who will be 5 years old on or before August 31, 2022. Parents registering their child will also be required to submit electronic copies of an original birth certificate, proof of immunization, and proof of residency. Parents will receive a confirmation email from the school once the registration documents have been received.

Parents who are unable to access the online registration system should contact their child’s school to arrange pick-up and drop-off of paper documents. Parents are asked to not visit the school in person unless prior arrangements have been made.

Parents wishing to apply for school choice will first need to register their child at his or her home school and then apply for school choice.
