A women’s tournament underway with heavy payout

It was anchors away in Ocean City for day two of the Poor Girls Open, an all-women fishing tournament.
The ladies billfish tournament is now in year 25 and benefits breast cancer research, with entries allowed for Tuna, Dolphin and Wahoo.
This year over 100 boats entered, and in just the last three years the tournament has raised over $100,000 for the American Cancer Society.
But winners also walk away with a pretty penny, a total of $226,000 is on the line as payout.
This year, tournament officials expect to be able to donate about $130,000 to charity. And with that, the open will eclipse the $1-million mark for funds raised for breast cancer research since the tournament began.
