Police search for men responsible for Easter weekend park robberies

In Delaware, police are asking for the public's help in finding the men responsible for two robberies that happened Easter weekend in both Bicentennial and Memorial Parks in Milford.

Police say that just after 11 o'clock Saturday night, a man was walking across the bridge between Memorial and Bicentennial when two men allegedly walked up behind him, assaulted him, stole his wallet and then fled on Southeast Front Street. The victim sustained serious injuries and was taken to a local hospital.

Then the next morning, just after 2:00 AM, another victim was walking through Bicentennial Park when three men armed with knives allegedly assaulted him and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. That victim also sustained injuries and was taken to the hospital.
