Police: Search ongoing for Del. man; gold alert issued

Police are seeking the public's help in locating a man after a gold alert was issued in Delaware. 

Delaware State Police say on Friday, around 8:05 AM, Nicholas Gates of Harrington, was last seen at a residence in the 200 block of Fox Hunters Road, in Harrington. Troopers say a gold alert was issued Gates.

According to the report, Gates is described as standing 5;08" tall weighing 155 lbs., with brown hair and blue eyes. Authorities say he was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans. 

Troopers report that he is driving a white Chevrolet Silverado four-door with tinted windows bearing DE tags 11118.

DSP says there is real concern for Gates safety and welfare, after their attempts to locate him were unsuccessful.
