Upcoming water valve replacement results in shut off for several Dorchester Co. streets

Officials say replacement of a water valve will result in a water shut off that is set for later this week, in Hurlock.

Town of Hurlock says a water shut off is set for the following streets: 

Wright's Avenue, Collins Avenue, Gannon Street, Oak Street, Poplar Street, Elm Street, Dogwood Drive, Willow Drive, Hurlock Avenue and Heights Avenue.

According to officials, the water shut off is happening in order to replace a water valve on Oak Street. The shut off is set for Thursday, from midnight until 5:00 PM
