Cambridge Police Dept. Hosts Fall National Night Out

(CAMBRIDGE, Md) – The Cambridge Police Department is preparing to host its annual National Night Out this week.

The department moved the city’s Night Out Event from August to October last year, and saw an increase in attendance. So Cambridge Police is bringing the event back to Jerry boyle park again, featuring giveaways and fall themed events.

Police Captain, Antoine Patton says they’re looking forward to even more people coming out this year.

Captain Patton tells WMDT, “Our community was asking for something different. So we’ve decided to do a Cambridge night out, a little fall festival for our community. We will have hay rides there. We’ll have free funnel cakes, ice cream, laughter and fun and games for our entire community.”

The Cambridge Police will be holding National Night Out on Wednesday, October 7th, at Gerry Boyle Park from 3 P.M. to 8 P.M.
