T.S. Smith Orchard Point Market Transitions to Fall

BRIDGEVILLE, Del.– T.S. Smith Orchard Point Market sits on the corner of Rt. 13 and Redden Road in Bridgeville.

The market offers fresh fruits and vegetables, that change with each season.

General manager Kim Sears says the fall season is evident as soon as you walk through the door.

“So on the inside we have our bakery with our pumpkin, apples, and apple cider donuts ,”Sears said. “Then we have the outside and for that we’re decorating and ready for people to come in.”

Employee Kara Smith says she’s looking forward to the comfort that comes with the fall season.

“It’s fall ya’ll,” Smith said. “Everythings just getting ready to prepare itself to quiet down and you have the comfort of the campfire and just the warm cozy feeling that brings people together.”

T.S. Smith orchard market tells WMDT that they are greatful that markets such as this became a fall tradition for families.

“Between the pumpkins, and the playground outback the kids love to come in,” Sears said.

The last of the summer fruits are quickly making their way out while apples and pumpkins and other signs of the new season are quickly taking their place.
