Seizure of Marijuana after Traffic stop

Wicomico County, Md, – One man received a criminal citation following a drug investigation.

Davion Douglas was observed by the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office to be involved in what appeared to be a drug transaction between the occupants of a vehicle.
Detectives conducted a traffic stop, with a K-9 scan of the vehicle testing positive.

The vehicle was searched and reports say that a book bag was located containing 38 individual bags of suspected raw marijuana, totaling a weight of 133 grams.
One-thousand eight hundred and eighty six dollars were discovered after a search of Douglas’ person.

Officials say that Douglas received a criminal citation for possession with intent to distribute marijuana and was released from the scene.
