Salisbury Man Sentenced to 45 Years for Firearm Drug Trafficking
SALISBURY, Md. – A Salisbury man has been sentenced to nearly five decades behind bars for his role in dealing cocaine.
On Sept. 18, 50-year-old Kambreh Jones was sentenced in the Circuit Court for Wicomico County to 45 years of jailtime, of which 10 years must be served without the possibility of parole. His sentence follows a two-day jury trial in April, in which he was convicted of firearm drug trafficking, possession with intent to distribute cocaine, manufacture cocaine, illegal possession of a regulated firearm, and related offenses.
“The scourge of the criminal drug trade, and the addiction, violence and misery that follow it as night follows day, is a plague upon our community,” said State’s Attorney Jamie L. Dykes. “This investigation, prosecution, verdict and sentence send a clear message that my Office and our affiliated law enforcement agencies will not tolerate this lawlessness.”
On Dec. 21, 2023, members from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office executed a search and seizure warrant in the 700 block of Meadow Wood Drive in Salisbury. During execution of the warrant, officers located a regulated firearm, a large amount of cocaine, oxycodone pills, a large amount of cannabis, and manufacturing equipment used for the production and distribution of narcotics.
