Coalition Advocates for a Safer Fred Hudson Road

BETHANY BEACH, Del.– A coalition in Sussex County is on a mission to make Fred Hudson road safer for bikers and pedestrians.

Fred Hudson Road is a route many people in the Bethany Beach use everyday– but concerns about safety has sparked calles for improvements.

Now– a coalition is advocating for new safety measures like improving visibility and lowering speed limits for pedestrian safety.

Members of the coalition say those changes will benefit the community.

“Number one the safety is absolutely paramount,” Simonsen said.” “Number two it will lessen the traffic and congestion in Bethany there’s so many benefits to this.”
